ESSENTIAL SERVICES

Essential Services are all the Fire Protection Equipment, Emergency Lighting, Exit Signs and Fire Exit Doors etc, that provides safe passage from a building in emergency.

The Local Government Act requires that all Essential Service Equipment be maintained, serviced and Certified in accordance with the relevant Australian Standards and Building Codes.

Building Insurance cover maybe null and void where Essential Services are not installed and or have not maintained and certified in Accordance with the relevant Australian Standards and Building Codes.

Annual Fire Safety Certificates are issued to Council stating the Fire Equipment has been installed and maintained in Accordance with the relevant codes
